We had a most fantastic field trip to Campbell’s Gold Honeybee Farm, learning lots about bees and their lifestyle habits. Some of us went so far as to hold bees (the boys with no stingers) in our bare hands!

For the first time ever, we are hatching chicks in a homemade incubator! The red heat lamp keeps the eggs warm, while the water in the incubator keeps the air inside moist. We’re looking forward to having live chicks here at the school soon!
It’s incredible how such a simple activity can spark so much creativity in children.
